Dubai Update

Well, while internet service is abundant in Dubai, it costs an arm and a leg at our hotel. So, we’ve been forced to share time on the two business center computers. I’ll keep the post short and just let you know that there are more pictures uploaded from the past two days.

In short, Friday was our Atlantis day. We made reservations for lunch and managed to stay the rest of the afternoon on their beach. It was fabulous. Saturday, we officially started our study abroad program with a city tour and dinner cruise. The tour was a whirlwind of most all the activities we’d been doing over the earlier three days — Burj, Atlantis, Mall of the Emirates, Gold Souk, etc. I’m glad that we had the time to really see these things earlier, because only 45 minutes in the Mall for lunch didn’t allow you any time to shop.
